About Charlotte Wess
Charlotte Wess is a garden design consultant working mainly in South West London and East Sussex.
After training as a graphic designer, Charlotte worked as an illustrator for over fifteen years. Her clients included The Sunday Times magazine, Saatchi and Saatchi, Conran Octopus, and Readers Digest books. In 1988 she illustrated "Colour schemes for the flower garden" by Gertrude Jekyll (published by Frances Lincoln) after which she specialised in illustrating garden and plant subjects.
In 1999 she began to retrain in horticulture and garden design studying at Lambeth College and Capel Manor.
She now runs a small garden design practice specialising in rural and urban domestic gardens.
